Description:	This study aims to highlight the importance of the novelistic text as a literary genre in the didactics of history in secondary education, considering it a rich source of information and events that contributes to the development of the learner`s personality by stimulating critical thinking skills and fostering self-directed learning for understanding and analyzing various historical facts.
