dc.description	It is evident through Law No. 23/12, which defines the general rules related to public procurement, that the Algerian legislator has imposed several oversight mechanisms.These consist of internal oversight, represented by the Bid Opening and Evaluation Committees within the contracting authority. Additionally, there is prior external oversight exercised by Public Procurement Commissions (The National Public Procurement Council, and Sectoral Commissions(Furthermore, public procurement is subject to subsequent oversight, which includes guardianship oversight (administrative supervision), as well as oversight by the Court of Auditors and the General Finance Inspectorate. These mechanisms aim to consolidate the principles of transparency and integrity among economic operators and to protect public funds from all forms of corruption.	en_US
