This study aims to uncover the image of women in the short story collection "The End of One Thousand and One Nights" by Mohamed Tahar Aissani ، a work belonging to Algerian literature. This is achieved by examining the manifestations of the female image within this collection. To this end، my research comprises an ntroduction، two chapters (theoretical and applied)، and a conclusion. The theoretical chapter addresses three main topics: the first discusses the concepts of imagery and image; the second explores the concept of woman; and the third examines the image of women in Algerian novels. The second chapter، the applied section، begins with a description of the short story collection، followed by an analysis of the semiotics of textual thresholds within the collection،including the title and cover. I then extract from the stories of "The End of One Thousand and One Nights" the image of woman (the wise woman،the body، the subject ، the land، nature، etc.) . Finally، I conclude with a summary of my findings.en_US
