Abstract

This topic represents a fundamental issue in Arabic grammar studies, namely (the principles of the theory of dependency between structure and meaning according to Al-Mubarrad), this distinguished grammarian who emerged in the theory of dependency through his concise book; he demonstrated the relationship between structure and meanings through nominal and verbal sentences; he even disagreed with several grammarians on issues that were considered significant in grammatical rulings; for the theory of dependency explains the relationship of structure to its meaning through expressive and rhetorical inflection down to the phonetic level, indicating that dependency is the foundation of Arabic structure from Al-Mubarrad's perspective, which distinguished him from his predecessors, especially in nominal sentences.
