This study analyzes the interactions between urban vegetation and overhead electrical networks in the city of Mila, with particular emphasis on identifying trees likely to generate interference risk situations. The tree inventory identified 220 trees spatially interacting with overhead electrical networks, distributed across 11 botanical species. The assessment of the tree–network interference index reveals an overall critical situation. Regarding so-called problematic species, 150 individuals were identified, mainly distributed among Eucalyptus camaldulensis (86%), followed by Pinus halepensis (7%), Platanus occidentalis (5%), and Platanus orientalis (2%). These species exhibit morphological characteristics that favor conflicts with electrical networks, particularly significant above-ground development. The analysis of critical locations shows that areas with high human exposure also concentrate a large portion of the urban tree stock, once again dominated by Eucalyptus camaldulensis, followed by Ficus microcarpa and Citrus aurantium. Finally, the priority management index confirms the urgency of the situation: 67% of trees are classified as very high priority, 22% as high priority, and 11% as moderate priority. The spatial distribution highlights a concentration of high-risk trees along the main roads of the city center, reflecting a direct conflict between urban development and tree line management. These results contribute to a better understanding of tree–electrical network interaction dynamics and provide a decision-support basis for urban vegetation management and risk prevention in the city of Mila.en_US
