| Abstract: | تعد هذه الدراسة من أحد المواضيع الحديثة التي حظيت باهتمام متزايد في ظل التحولات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية والتكنولوجية، حيث لم يعد دور البنوك التجارية مقتصرا على تقديم خدمات مصرفية بل أصبح يشمل الإسهام في خدمة المجتمع ودعم التنمية المستدامة. تهدف هذه الدراسة في القسم النظري إلى بناء إطار معرفي حول المسؤولية الاجتماعية والتنمية المستدامة، وبيان العلاقة بينهما، وتهدف في القسم التطبيقي إلى دراسة تحليلية للبنك العربيالأردني، وتقييم واقع المسؤولية الاجتماعية ، وقياس مدى مساهمتها في تحقيق أبعاد التنمية المستدامة. اعتمدنا في الجانب النظري على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ومنهج دراسة الحالة في الجانب التطبيقي. توصل البحث بصفة عامة إلى أن البنك العربي الأردني يمنح المسؤولية الاجتماعية أهمية استراتيجية ، من خلال توظيفها كأداة داعمة لتعزيز أبعاد التنمية المستدامة. |
| Description: | This study is considered one of the contemporary topics that has received increasing attention in light of the economic, social, environmental, and technological transformations. The role of commercial banks is no longer limited to providing banking services; rather, it has expanded to include contributing to community service and supporting sustainable development.The theoretical section of this study aims to build a conceptual framework on social responsibility and sustainable development, and to clarify the relationship between them. The applied section aims to conduct an analytical study of the Arab Bank of Jordan, evaluate the reality of social esponsibility, and measure the extent of its contribution to achieving the dimensions of sustainable development. In the theoretical aspect, we relied on the descriptive-analytical approach, while the case study approach was adopted in the applied aspect.The research generally concluded that the Arab Bank of Jordan grants strategic importance to social responsibility by employing it as a supportive tool to enhance the dimensions of sustainable development |
