This study aimed to research the pivotal role that feminist social entrepreneurship plays as a strategic mechanism for the empowerment of women in developing countries, with a particular focus on the economic and social impact of entrepreneurial projects in rural environments. And to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive-analytical approach was used, as the study included three main chapters: [they] included the theoretical grounding for the two variables of the study (social entrepreneurship and women's empowerment), while the applied aspect was dedicated to analyzing a group of pioneering international experiences (in Bhutan, India, Senegal, Indonesia...), and successful national experiences in Algeria (quinoa cultivation in the desert, hydroponic fodder in Khenchela, and the Dar Jaddi project for handicrafts in M'Sila). And the study has concluded that feminist social entrepreneurship does not represent a means for material gain only, but rather it is a driver for comprehensive empowerment through breaking the chains of economic dependency and changing traditional gender roles, and transforming women from a consumer of aid into an active and productive partner. As the results also proved that the success of these projects depends heavily on integrating cultural heritage with technical innovation and the availability of a supportive institutional environment that guarantees the sustainability of the social and material impact of entrepreneurial projects.en_US
