dc.description	Criminal protection for abused wives is considered one of the legal mechanisms established by the Algerian legislator, as it aims to protect wives from various forms of violence they may suffer within the family, whether physical, psychological, verbal, or economic violence. The legislator has strengthened this protection by criminalizing acts of violence against wives and imposing stricter penalties for such acts, in addition to providing procedural guarantees that enable victims to seek justice and prosecute offenders.The Algerian legislation’s concern for protecting wives is also reflected in the recent amendments made to the Penal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure, which aim to reduce domestic violence, ensure deterrence, and preserve family unity. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of this protection remains dependent on the proper implementation of legal provisions and overcoming social obstacles that may prevent wives from reporting the violence they experience.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	تعتبر الحماية الجنائية للزوجة المعنفة من الآليات القانونية التي أقرها المشرع الجزا ئري إذا تهدف حماية الزوجة من مختلف أشكال العنف التي قد تتعرض لها داخل الأسرة، سواء كان عنفا جسديا او نفسيا او لفظيا او اقتصاديا ،وقد غزز المشرع هذه الحماية من خلال تحريك أفعال العنف ضد الزوجة و تشديد العقوبات المقررة لها، إضافة إلى توفير ضمانات إجرا ئية تمكن الضحية من اللجوء إلى القضاء ومتابعة الجاني ،كما يظهر إهتمام التشريع الجزا ئري بحماية الزوجة من خلال التعديلات الحديثة التي مست قانون العقوبات وقانون الإجرا ءات الجزا ئية ،والتي هدفت إلى الحد من ظاهرة العنف الأسري وتحقيق الردع وحماية كيان الأسرة ،ورغم ذلك ،تبقى فعالية هذه الحماية مرتبطة بمدى تطبيق النصوص القانونية و تجاوز العوائق الإجتماعية التي قد تمنع الزوجة من التبليغ عن العنف الذي تتعرض له	en_US
