Abstract

The digitization of the land registry and property registration represents a major milestone in Algeria's public administration reform, aiming to modernize management and enhance public real estate services. Backed by a legal framework, this process regulates cadastre and conservation activities, driving a gradual transition from traditional paper documents to electronic data processing. This digital shift streamlines administrative workflows, accelerates file processing, and optimizes property data storage and exchange, thereby boosting administrative efficiency and accuracy. However, its ultimate success depends heavily on robust digital infrastructure, workforce competence, and the reliability of information systems. Despite noticeable progress, Algeria's real estate administration continues to face technical and organizational hurdles that slow down the nationwide rollout of this digital transformation
