Abstract: Investment promotion bodies, established under Law No. 22-18, are among the most important mechanisms adopted by the Algerian legislature to improve the investment climate. These bodies, primarily the National Investment Council and the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, have been granted broad powers aimed at supporting investors, simplifying administrative procedures, and encouraging both domestic and foreign investment ;The National Investment Council is responsible for proposing and guiding investment policy and monitoring its implementation. The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, on the other hand, is tasked with supporting investors, facilitating the realization of investment projects, and managing concessions and economic real estate, thereby contributing to economic development and supporting investment in Algeria.
