dc.description	The issue of environmental protection and conservation is of great interest at the global and national levels, which prompted the Algerian legislator to grant broad powers to various bodies that would play an important role in the field of environmental protection. Among these bodies is the municipality, as it is a link with the citizen. In order for the municipality to play this role, the legislator granted it many powers and mechanisms to preserve the environment through several laws, including the Municipal Law, the Environmental Protection Law within the framework of sustainable development, and related laws.The embodiment of environmental rotection is not limited to the municipality alone, but extends to include the individual or collective contribution of citizens to the municipality in order to achieve environmental protection. However, the municipality faces several hallenges in performing its duty and mission in protecting the environment, and in order to confront these challenges, it must search for solutions to these challenges in order to live in a healthy and safe environment	en_US
dc.description.abstract	يعتبر موضوع الإهتمام بالبيئة والمحافظة عليها من المواضيع التي تحظى باهتمام كبير على المستوى العالمي والوطني، مما دفع المشرع الجزا ئري إلى منح صلاحيات واسعة لمختلف الهيئات التي من شأنها أن تلعب دو را هاما في مجال الحفاظ على البيئة، ومن بين هذه الهيئات توجد البلدية باعتبارها حلقة وصل مع المواطن، ولكي تقوم البلدية بهذا الدور منحها المشرع العديد من الصلاحيات والآليات للحفاظ على البيئة وذلك من خلال عدة قوانين منها قانون البلدية وقانون حماية البيئة في إطار التنمية المستدامة والقوانين ذات الصلة بذلك. ولا يتوقف تجسيد حماية البيئة على البلدية فقط وإنما يتعدى ليشملمساهمةالمواطنين بشكل فردي أو جماعي للبلدية من اجل تحقيق حماية البيئة، إلا أن البلدية تواجه عدة تحديات في أداء واجبها ومهمتها في حماية البيئة ومن أجل مواجهة هذه التحديات وجب عليها البحث عن حلول لهذه التحديات من أجل العيش في بيئة صحية وسليمة.	en_US
