Abstract: This study aims to describe and analyze the legal advantages granted by the Algerian legislator to startups in recent years, following the growing interest in the knowledge economy and the promotion of innovation through the creation of a favorable environment for the success and support of startups in Algeria. This increasing interest stems from the political will of the state across its various governmental sectors, which has paved the way for innovative young people to enter the world of entrepreneurship through startups. Our study adopted both the descriptive and analytical approaches. In the first chapter, we examined the conceptual and legal ramework of startups. The second chapter focused on describing the legal advantages granted by the Algerian legislator to startups in recent years. A set of hypotheses related to the legally granted advantages for startups across various sectors and fields was tested. The study also reviewed the supporting institutions and financing bodies available to assist innovative young entrepreneurs in transforming their innovative ideas into reality. The study concluded with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the establishment of a unified legal guide encompassing all laws and incentives related to startups, in order to guide innovative youth and facilitate the process of establishing startups and benefiting from the available advantages
